Platform for research in the area of wireless sensor networks

As the ScatterWeb platform was initially based on research results in the areas of networked wireless systems, ScatterWeb GmbH still features a special platform for research and educational institutions.
While you can order the hardware of the research line at ScatterWeb GmbH, the software and additional information about the features of the research nodes can be found on the Web sites of our cooperation partner at the Freie Universität Berlin. The second version of the research line modules is available now.

ScatterWeb research line programming made easy with the .NET SDK:

ScatterWeb .NET SDK is a new approach to working with wireless sensor networks. It hides the complexity of embedded programming and offers easy to handle .NET objects that represent the wireless sensors. For further information and related downloads refer to the university web page about ScatterWeb .NET.

The research line consists of the following products:

StarterKit

MSB430

MSB-C carrier board

MSB-S sensor board
(on request)

ScatterWeb Data Sheets

Please Note:

The MSB modular sensor board is provided for research and demos in the area of wireless sensor networks. It has not been certified nor tested for usage in any critical environment outside research labs.

Software running on the MSBs is provided as-is via the cooperation partner Freie Universität Berlin. Software will be available on http://scatterweb.mi.fu-berlin.de. Neither Freie Universität Berlin nor ScatterWeb can take over any liability for the software.

Please note, that MSB and the software running on it are not compatible with the industry line products of ScatterWeb, especially not with ScatterNode and ScatterGate. MSB is as well not compatible with the ESB, the former version of the ScatterWeb research line platform.
